Please download the data from the syllogistic reasoning tasks. Based on the data, you can program a MPT model to fit the participant's response pattern. Keep in mind to construct the model allowing for flexibility concerning the amount of premises (e.g. 'immediate inferences' or 3 premises).
Remarks on the data
- Experiment: Experiment specification regarding the paper.
- Participants: Number of participants.
- Age group: Younger or older than 18.
- Domain: Context of the premises' content.
- Number of Syllogisms: Total number of tested syllogisms in the experiment.
- Type: Aristotelian classification of the syllogisms.
- premise 1: Respective quantifier in the first premise.
- premise 2: Respective quantifier in the second premise.
- A: Answer with 'all'
- E: Answer with 'none'
- I: Answer with 'some'
- O: Answer with 'some not'
- N: None
- Misc: Any answer irregularities such as not answered.
- ...(percentage): Percentage of participants giving the respective answer.
- ...(absolute): Absolute amount of participants giving the respective answer.
